Save the Date! Florida IP Summit, March 25-26, 2010

The Intellectual Property Committee of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar has scheduled a new CLE program for March 25-26, 2010 to take place in Tampa, Florida.  The Florida IP Summit will feature a keynote speech by the newly named  U.S. Commissioner for Patents Robert Stoll.  Also speaking will be David Carson, General Counsel of the U.S. Copyright Office, and Prof. Jacqueline D. Lipton, Ph.D. of Case Western University Law School.

The site for the event will be the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Downtown Tampa.  Special room rates will be available.

The event will begin in the late afternoon Thursday, March 25th, with a meeting of the Intellectual Property Committee, followed by a networking cocktail party, and dinner.  Commissioner Stoll will give the keynote speech at dinner Thursday night.

Friday will be jam packed with over 9 hours of CLE credits on advanced IP topics!

This event will be a perfect way for Florida Board Certified IP lawyers to obtain recertification credit close to home.  The IP Summit will also provide much needed review to attorneys studying for the upcoming certification exam.
